Mission Statement
The San Diego Marine Aquarium Society (SDMAS) is a non-profit organization run by local marine enthusiasts for local marine enthusiasts, and dedicated to the support of the hobby of marine aquarium keeping in the San Diego area.

We believe in the conservation of coral reefs by promoting captive breeding and propagation of marine creatures and developing natural marine environments for our specimens. We promote responsibility and education of marine hobbyists.

Our membership is diverse and includes those who are still contemplating their first tank, renowned experts, and all levels in between. The atmosphere at our meetings is friendly, and we welcome new members of all levels.

San Diego Marine Aquarium Society provides a forum for sharing ideas, help and support on an informal basis through regular meetings, a mailing list, and other organized activities.

There's always something happening at our Forums.
