Psammocora decussata

Description: Colonies have irregularly flattened to subcylindrical branches. Corallites are superficial, with coarsely beaded petaloid septa.
Color: Dark grey.
Habitat: Rocky foreshores.
Abundance: Rare.
Similar Species: Psammocora contigua has smaller and more superficial corallites. See also P. obtusangula.
