Calling ALL San Diego Reefers ----CALLING ALL SAN DIEGO REEFERS!! We have worked out an awesome event for November and are changing it up a bit. Mark your calendars -
When: SUNDAY November 13th
Time: Noon - 4pm
Where: AquaSD
Will, Alicia, and the AquaSD crew have generously offered up AquaSD to host our November event. We will be setting up in the back to host a used equipment sale and frag swap. We'll be putting up some canopies and if the weather cooperates I'll be bringing the bbq to fire up some burgers and dogs. If anyone would like to bring anything we won't complain.
In addition, AquaSD will have some earlier hours for us that Sunday to take advantage of 15% off all livestock and dry goods.....and I'm hearing possibly 20% so make sure we sweet talk Will
So...for all you pack rats like me that have our garage full of equipment that we really don't use - bring it on down. Start posting what you plan on bringing or are looking for including frags. I'll most likely be bringing my frag tank set up but frags in styrofoam cups also does the trick just fine. I may actually put my frag tank set up for sale to take home after the event.
I'm sure there will be a few more surprises and announcements to come but put in your requests now with the significant other, put in the time off work requests, do whatever it takes to get down to AquaSD on November 13th from Noon-4pm as it will be well worth it. This is open to the general public, you do not need to be a card carrying SDMAS member to attend.
SDMAS will be offering memberships for the remainder of 2011 and for all of 2012 for $35. If you are not already a member this is a good opportunity to join and attend our annual holiday party in December which is a member only event.
