My Orchid Dottyback is retarted!

Hello,

Not really retarded just sounded funny.
I re did the rockwork Fri and she disapeared for 2 days? (she...well he/she...hermaphrodite...sp?)
I thought I accidentally killed her.:(
Then she appears out of no where after evening feeding time Sun and looks fine, eating, swiming around etc.
Now gone for 1 day again. :confused:
I know they hide in caves rock holes etc but for how long normally?
No other fish seem to be bothering her? Maybe large lawnmower blenny?
Ive only had her for less than a week. Maybe shes still adjusting?
Shes so beutiful and full of character when she is out.:)
Sometimes I worry too much.

mine stays in his hole a lot as well. He found a hole in a rock and cleared it out so he can dip in it. I wouldn't worry too much. they are hiders by nature. Hello,

Such a kool fish. so much personality and mind blowing color

...and they can kill bristleworms and mantis shrimp, what a perk.

wanna talk about personality? Mine goes into his little hole comes out with a mouth full of sand and spits it all over whatever coral is closest to his lair. I constantly have to turkey baste my zoos. I have little 1/2 nassarius snails in my sand bed too, and I think one of those ventured into his hole one day...the next thing I notice is the fish swimming with the SNAIL in his mouth and he spits it right out on a rock. :) Pushy little guy isn't he?!

Bad news. I waited too long to treat my PB tang with ich and he infected my whole tank. The psuedo was the first to no make it through. He really just took a turn for the worse and the next morning gone. Poor little guy. But now when I get back from Miami, I'm going to QT all my fish for 8 weeks, ich really sucks.
