Dive bombs and dust clouds

So i've been watching my yellow coris wrasse hunt pods tonight. And all of the sudden he BAM hits the sand and makes a huge dust cloud. Is he just stupid or is it me? And can all this dust he kicked up mean a potential ammonia spike?

I wouldn't worry about an amonia spike. He will bury himself in the sand to sleep every night anyway. It is good to keep the sandbed stirred up. I have a yellow cori wrasse that does the same thing.
