Hi everyone,
So I finally have a chance to use Coral Frenzy. I mix a 1/2 teaspon w/ a cup and a half of tank water, along w/ 1/4 teaspon of Cyclopeeze and two tablespoons of Phytoplankton (Blake's). I turn off all pumps and powerheads, use turkey baster to target feed corals, blah blah blah..., after 1/2 hour I turn on one powerhead, 15 minutes later I turn on other powerhead, 15 minutes more (now a full hour) I turn on all pumps and closed loop is circulating. Keep in mind this if my first time using Coral Frenzy. Luckily I look at my skimmer minutes later. The skimmer cup is overflowing. I had to lower the tube in my Euro-Reef skimmer all the way down! It's producing lots of wet gunk at the lowest adjustment (the dryest setting). Is this typical? Am I doing something wrong? Should I not run my skimmer for a day so that the corals can utilize as much of the food as possible then start running the skimmer? What are your thoughts on this? Your feedback is much appreciated.
Thanks,
