Don't get too caught up in this crazy hobby! oowwee I've got them open....I didn't know they simulated 365 daylight cycle :eek: ....these things are going on my tank. At least for a bit.

With LED lighting, you have to re-think the rest of your tank set up.
1) You may have to forget about the chiller (I'll take mine out....someday)
2) You don't need a controller to turn your lights on/off or program it to turn on/off if your tank starts to overheat.
3) Don't need another set of moonlights.
4) Don't need those extra cables to attach each separate timer.
5) Don't need those extra fans in the canopy
I'm slowly researching for the purchase of a controller/monitor that doesn't concern itself with lighting controls. There are so many options.....ugh.
