I am in the process of designing an in wall reef tank, it will be either 60X18X24 or 60X24X24. If I go with the larger tank (my real preference) it may have to be a flat back hexagon. I am looking for and aquarium manufacturer suggestions and experiences.
I appreciate any information that you can provide.
Thank you

if this is going to be a reef tank, let me urge you to go the 24" from front to back. You will thank yourself 1000 times over for the space. I used to have an 18" tank from front to back and when I upgraded I built mine 30" F-B.
The people that built my tank are www.fishtankfactory.com. Charlie took good care of me and the price was unbeatable. I have heard mixed reviews but not from anyone that has actually purchased. So I risked it and ordered mine. It was done fast, and exactly how i wanted, actually better than I wanted.
Most people go to leemar, but I found this company offered me great quality and under 1/2 the price of leemar.
Your options are pretty much Leemar, Visio, Glass Cages, Fishtankfactory, and i'm not sure if you're looking for acrylic.

Thanks for the info, I am pretty sure I will go with the 24" front to back but that is a large as I have room for. I am leaning towards acrylic for strenght and weight, but not really sure.

What is your space limitation? I did my Inwall at 30Wx60x24H with flow box on one end centered. I could not imagine going narrower when you build the reef for viewing from both sides...Actually mine is viewable from three....

Thanks for the advice and the pictures of your tank. I will be putting my tank under the stairs going up to our second floor. My first idea was to keep the front of the tank flush with the wall and with the limited space under the stairs I would have to make the tank at 60LX18WX24H, but now I think I will change the look some and make it 60LX24WX24H. To do this I need to modify the opening I currently have (bad planning on my part) to accommodate the lighting for the wider tank. I will try to post some pictures in the next few days to try to make it a little clearer.
I really appreciate your advice.
